I feel bad about what I am to admit. I actually watched the first episode of Help I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here. I always like to see what kind of B rated people they have and what kind of sick minds the creators to get us, the regular people to watch.
Now, I like Lou Diamond Phillips. From Numbers, to his war movies; never saw La Bamba, and the Young Guns stuff never appealed to me. But I like him. and then there is a Baldwin. And this one makes his living off doing these things, but, I do kinda like him also. he makes fun of himself and does try, so hes ok. The rest; I had no clue who they were. well I take that back. The mother of "Super-Model" I recognize cause I always saw a pre-view for her reality TV show. Never watched it. But knew who she was. And I was thinking to myself, she looks good, but she has had a LOT of work done. Isn't she like 60 or something?
The others were what I thought of as typical; people I never had heard of. and then these two twist from The Hills. OMG. I thought I had seen spoiled and pampered-these 2 take the cake. I wish they HAD left on that first day. I know I will never watch that show, ever. Granted, I never knew it, didn't care, and will never watch it. and if these two never do anything else on TV or any other kind of media, it will be too soon. They need a reality check, a spanking (no time out here) and then they need to be spade and neutered so they can not reproduce.
If they were acting (and I use that term loosely with those two) they did a good job of making us hate them. Lou Diamond and the other actually made me like them; even the ones I had never heard of.
In short-here is another reality show I will not watch. Some people may say I supported them by watching it on TV. Wrong. I caught on Hulu, when there was absolutely nothing else that I had not already seen a dozen times, so I thought I would try. I see I was wrong. And hope that watching it on line does not put any money into their pockets.
In that vein; I caught the last Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Always did like him, and he went out with class; very similar to how Johnny did-but still Johnny ruled Jay, sorry. But Jay was classy and still love him. Then saw Conan on the first episode of the Tonight Show. Very good. Very impressed. I was a little worried about him. And I am sorry to say, that Will Ferrell who I love as an actor, came across as not too good on there. Don't know what it was. and then I caught Jimmy Fallon. Excellent band! And Jimmy did a very good job. Some good skits. But thought he ran long with some political stuff. Just my opinion there. But all in all, a very good job. I wouldn't mind watching him again, if nothing else, that band who has a sousaphone player, IS GREAT!
Those are my 2 cents.
